An assessment of the staffing structures of university libraries in Ghana

Abstract

The nature of organisational structure is discussed. A survey is reported comparing the organisational structures of university libraries in Ghana with those of their counterparts in the UK. The discussion covers factors that make changes in present structures necessary and type of structural changes required.
