dc.description.abstractThe mission of the University is to create an enabling environment that makes University of Ghana increasingly relevant to national and global development through cutting edge research as well as high quality teaching and learning. In carrying out its mission, the University is committed to the highest level of integrity and ethical standards, and therefore endeavours to ensure that the academic work of its staff and students is of the highest standard. The University is committed to ensuring that its staff and students do not plagiarize the work of others. This policy document therefore seeks to clearly define what plagiarism is, spell out the University's efforts at preventing plagiarism by staff and students, give the permissible extent and formats for citing the work of others, and what the sanctions for plagiarism are.en_US
