Chorioangioma of Placenta - A Case Report.

Abstract

A case of a large chorioangioma present in one out of 120 placentae of still births is reported. It was present in a twin pregnancy and was associated with placental abruption. retroplacental clot, antepartum hemorrhage and intrauterine death at 33 weeks gestation. Autopsy examination of both fetuses revealed features of intrauterine asphyxia.
