dc.description.abstract | This paper offers a panoramic view of the various approaches in African biblical hermeneutics. It discusses their basic presuppositions, contributions to the spread of Christianity in Africa, and concludes by proposing a new way of reading in communicative perspective: adherence to the biblical text, and the context of the interpreter. It is believed that this approach will restore the Word of God to its primary position and give a new dimension to African biblical interpretation. | en_US |
