dc.description.abstract | In this project work, we examined the problem of choosing the appropriate meaning in the translation of polysemous words. In chapter I we showed that polysemy is almost found in every text and this requires the process of disambiguation in order to obtain the dynamic meaning. We then translated our corpus extracted from a paper entitled ‘’Illicit Finanancial Flows: Illicit trade in counterfeit, pirated and substandard goods in Ghana’’ and then we analyzed the problems of choosing the appropriate meaning of polysemous words in our corpus. For successful analysis, we first listed the potential meanings of polysemous words so as to choose the right and appropriate meaning based on the context. | en_US |
