| dc.description.abstract | The proliferation of leanings within the feminist movement has influenced the writings of African women novelists such as Calixthe Beyala. This article attempts to assess the diverse facets of radical feminism as portrayed in Beyala’s thirteen novels. The analysis will bring to the fore the four major trends, namely belligerence, accommodation within aggression, impertinent frivolity and eroticism, that characterize her militant trajectory. | en_US |
