dc.description.abstract | This is an ethnographic study of newsroom practices at the Evening News. one of the three state-owned newspapers produced by the New Times Corporation. The study combined the methodology} of participant observation and in-depth interviews to explore the newsroom prac1iccs of the paper. The Study found that the newsroom of the Evening news is quite unconventional. The Paper does not have a sub desk and the pages are not planned by journalist. information and Communication Technology (lCT) is hardly used and has had no impact on newsroom culture. | en_US |
