Abstract

his document is a primer (textbook) for teaching the Gä (also known as Ga or Accra) language, published by the Basel Mission for use in the first year of vernacular schools in the Gold Coast (modern-day Ghana). The ninth edition, printed in 1914, it is a comprehensive educational tool designed for literacy and language acquisition.
