The object of this study was to assess empowerment among women in Mo communities of the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana in the areas of education, economic and decision-making. In achieving this objective a survey was conducted among 200 women. The study revealed that the women had attained a low level of formal education. However recognizing their level of economic independence and participation in decision-making in the home and community, it could be concluded that the women had attained an appreciable level of empowerment. With some capacity building, there could be a boost in the situation of the women.en_US
