Lord Worseley successful expedition to the Gold Coast in 1873-4 has made everyone familiar with the River Prah. It was that river you may remember that the Ashanti army crossed at Prahsu when it first invaded the British Protectorate and it was at its mouth that Commodore Commerrell and several Officers and men were shot in the back by a party of Natives from Chama ambushed at the river Bank
