Financing the national health insurance scheme in Ghana : is the one-time insurance premium the answer?

From the individual perspective, health care costs in Ghana may be decreasing due to the introduction of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). The government may, however, be experiencing increasing health care costs. This increase can be attributed to several factors.
