dc.description.abstractA comparative clinical study of Elaeophorbia drupifera extract and metronidazole was carried out in twenty patients during all outbreak of guinea worm infection. The effectiveness of the herbal preparation on guinea worm elimination, and relief of swellings and pain was studied. If was shown that the preparation of E. drupifera was clinically effective as an anthelmintic agent in guinea worm infection as compared with metronidazoleen_US
