Squamous cell carcinoma related to cumulative exposure to ultraviolet radiation is common in Caucasians but rare in blacks. Continuous skin bleaching results in the loss of melanin pigmentation. A case of squamous cell carcinoma with pulmonary metastasis is presented in an adult Ghanaian female who earlier in life indulged in skin bleaching with hydroquinone predominantly for more than 20 years.en_US
