University of Ghana Annual Report-2003

Abstract

This report presents information about some of the activities that took place at the University of Ghana in the past year. These activities are in conformity with the mission of the University, which seeks to develop world-class human resources and capabilities to meet national development needs and global challenges through quality teaching, learning, research and knowledge dissemination. Once again the University demonstrated that its procedures are transparent and trustworthy. After an exhaustive search a new Vice-Chancellor was appointed and inducted into office on October 1, 2002. The University is grateful to Professor Ivan Addae-Mensah j or his contribution to the development of this University during his tenure as Vice-Chancellor.
