Abstract
This investigation into children’s explanations of the natural phenomena has a twofold purpose. On the one hand, it is intended to place before the reader a general account of what the children know about the natural phenomena. On the other hand, it is hoped that it will serve as a reference for further research work of this kind, which will show whether children’s ideas about the natural phenomena are improving or deteriorating.
