Regional Integration and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, and ten (10) from the Nigerian
Foreign Ministry and Nigerian Embassy in Ghana were chosen as the study’s participants. Hence,
twenty (20) people were sampled for the study. A purposive sampling technique was employed for

strides in using cultural diplomacy as a soft power tool, there is still considerable room for
improvement. In summary, the relationship between cultural diplomacy and soft power in Ghana and
Nigeria was seen to be positive. It was recommended that Ghana and Nigeria invest more in cultural
infrastructure, such as museums, cultural centers, and educational programs, to preserve and
showcase their rich cultural heritage. These institutions serve as vital platforms for promoting national
identity and values to both domestic and international audiences. By enhancing these cultural
infrastructures, both countries can ensure that their cultural narratives are accurately represented and
effectively communicated, which will, in turn, strengthen their soft power.
