dc.description.abstractThis pamphlet is an attempt to survey the foods prepared every day in most Gold Coast compounds and street corners. Such food as shell – fish, turtles, bush pigs, locusts, bats, snails, porcupines, and many wild fruits and roots which the writer has seen in use and has even tasted must be considered as delicacies and falling therefore outside the scope of this work.en_US
