In sum, the research study revealed that the security of KIA is a joint force by major security agencies working together to keep the airport safe. Also, it was obvious that the KIA has evolved post 9/11. KIA threat being faced is the insider threat. Moreover, KIA has not experienced any form of terrorist attack. KIA implements the provision of GCAA and ICAO. Finally, KIA is making and continues to make giant strides towards achieving its main goal of becoming a Hub in West Africa. Nevertheless, the main challenge facing the attainment of this goal is the issue of insider threat, lack of screening technologies and poor monitoring of CCTV surveillance system.en_US
