Testosterone plays a vital role in obesity, glucose homeostasis, and lipid metabolism. The aim of this study was to investigate androgen levels and its association with obesity in Ghanaian men with type 2 diabetes. The study showed that serum total and free testosterone concentrations were lower in male patients with type 2 diabetes and that obesity was strongly associated with low levels of total and free testosterone in Ghanaian men with type 2 diabetes.en_US
