dc.description.abstract |
Reclassification of 45 cases of Hodgkin's disease according to the recommendations of the Rye Conference of 1965 has shown a marked preponderance of the mixed cellularity type (78%) in Ghana. This group does not occur more frequently in older patients as suggested by Lukes et al. (1966), but a study is required to correlate this histological distribution of the disease with length of survival, since the mixed cellularity group has been found by other workers to have a poorer prognosis. |
